Sony has revealed the tech­ni­cal spec­i­fi­ca­tions for their next gen­er­a­tion PlaySta­tion. The PS5 looks to be very sim­i­lar to the Xbox Series X in the hard­ware depart­ment, both fea­tur­ing AMD CPUs run­ning Zen 2 cores and cus­tom RDNA 2 GPU archi­tec­ture, Hard­ware accel­er­at­ed ray­trac­ing, Fast NVMe SSD stor­age and more. Sony has not yet revealed what the PS5 looks like but we know that it will fea­ture an Ultra HD Blu-ray dri­ve with disk capac­i­ty up to 100 GB. No word on when we will get to see what the PS5 looks like but hope­ful­ly it is very soon.
