Overwatch Halloween Terror Event: New Mode and New Skins!

Bliz­zard announced today, via twit­ter, their Hal­loween Ter­ror Event is now under­way. Over­watch fans were won­der­ing why the event had­n’t start­ed ear­li­er, but no rea­son was giv­en by Bliz­zard. This year there is a new mode, skins, emotes, and high­light intros.

The new mode added to Arcade for the next 3 weeks, to cel­e­brate the Hal­loween spir­it is, Junken­stein’s Revenge: End­less Night. You and three of your friends bat­tle waves of ene­mies and boss­es, to see how long you can sur­vive. Play as one of the four addi­tion­al heroes: Gen­ji, Tor­b­jörn, Wid­ow­mak­er, and Zeny­at­ta. Live long enough to earn a top spot on the all-new leaderboards.

Of course you can still play the reg­u­lar Junken­stein’s Revenge, if end­less waves are not your thing.

Now onto the loot. Here are the new char­ac­ter skins for this years Hal­loween Ter­ror Event (you can also unlock last year’s loot):

There are new skins for these char­ac­ters weapons, but they were not shown in the post from Bliz­zard. There are also a few new emotes which you can see here, and a char­ac­ter high­light which you can see below:

Over­watch’s Hal­loween Ter­ror Event will end on Novem­ber 1st, 2017.
