Odd Graphical Bugs For PS5 Users In Call Of Duty: Warzone

Call of Duty: War­zone’s new Caldera map launched today for those who own Call of Duty: Van­guard, and PlaySta­tion own­ers are suf­fer­ing from some per­for­mance issues on PS4 and PS5.

Raven Soft­ware post­ed on their Trel­lo board, stat­ing, “We are inves­ti­gat­ing var­i­ous per­for­mance relat­ed issues on the PlaySta­tion platform.”

Play­ers across all plat­forms have report­ed what Raven is cat­e­go­riz­ing as “arti­fact­ing” issues. This just means there are some “visu­al incon­sis­ten­cies” with char­ac­ter and weapon mod­els. You can check out some of these visu­al dis­tor­tions and strange look­ing bug below.

Oth­ers are doc­u­ment­ing an issues that appears to be a load-in bug that caus­es trees in the dis­tance to load up a tad slow. War­zone’s new map is also expe­ri­enc­ing oth­er ele­ments of Caldera not load­ing prop­er­ly for users. You can check out these bugs below.

War­zone’s Caldera map will go live for every­one tomor­row, Decem­ber 9th. This will be the first full-size new map for War­zone since the game launched in March 2020.
