New Elder Scrolls Online DLC Takes Players Back To Oblivion

Zen­i­Max Online Stu­dios and Bethes­da have more big plans for new con­tent com­ing to The Elder Scrolls Online. Four new pieces of DLC will hit Elder Scrolls Online through out the year start­ing with Flames of Ambi­tion on March 8th for PC and Sta­dia and March 16th for PlaySta­tion 4 and Xbox One. Head­lin­ing DLC Black­wood comes out two months lat­er on June 1st for PC and Sta­dia and June 8th for PlaySta­tion 4 and Xbox One, Two oth­er DLCs will be released in Q3 and Q4 no release dates have been pro­vid­ed for the last two yet but the include a new dun­geon pack and a new sto­ry zone.

It all kicks off with Flames Of Ambi­tion that fea­tures two new PVE dun­geons and some famil­iar faces, Eveli Sharp-Arrow and Dremo­ra Lyranth. Play­ers will also be able to unlock new gear and col­lec­tables. The Black­wood chap­ter is the main focus in the the Gates of Obliv­ion sto­ry­line fea­tur­ing a new zone, new quests, new game­play mechan­ics and qual­i­ty of life improve­ments. Play­ers will be able to com­plete­ly expe­ri­ence the new con­tent alone, with friends or with a new NPC com­pan­ion thanks to a new com­pan­ion fea­ture being added.

The Elder Scrolls Online Black­wood is avail­able for pre­order now for both new play­ers and return­ing vet­er­ans. Upon pre­order­ing play­ers will unlock a night­mare bear cub pet and a Nagahide Wel­wa Rav­ager Mount imme­di­ate­ly and a Dremo­ra Kyn­reeve out­fit, Dead­lands Wama­su pet, Iron Atronach Crate and more at launch.

The Elder Scrolls Online is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The Elder Scrolls Online Blackwood is available for pre-order now and will be available June 1st.
