Ubisoft has announced the next chapter in Bayek’s story, The Hidden Ones expansion. The Hidden Ones is set 4 years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins. You’ll unlock a new region on your map, the Sinai. You’ll also get new missions, a new outfit, new weapons and boost the level cap from 40 — 45. All players will be receiving a free quest, Incoming Threat, coming soon.
The Hidden Ones is intended for players who are close to level 40 “so be ready for a tough challenge if you’re not there yet. ”
In addition to the new level cap, two new crafting levels have been added to Bayek’s gear, and the Sinai holds new armaments (including four new Legendary weapons) as well as new mounts and a new outfit. - Ubisoft

Are we playing as Bayek in this expansion?
Yes! In The Hidden Ones, you are still playing as Bayek. You keep all your progress from the main game (abilities, crafting levels, gear, inventory, etc.) and can continue to upgrade and customize Bayek as you go.
Will we see returning characters from the main game?
Yes, you will meet some characters from the main game and some new ones specific to this expansion.
Ubisoft also announced a new free mode coming to Assassin’s Creed Origins. If exploration is something you enjoy then Ubisoft has you covered with the new Discovery Tour coming to Assassin’s Creed Origins. Discovery Tour is designed to be an educational experience that lets players explore Egypt at their own pace. Discovery Tour disables all missions and combat to allow you to explore the whole map while learning about the world around you.
Assassin’s Creed has always featured beautiful dynamic worlds to explore. Vast historical worlds from colonial US to ancient Egypt.While you could explore in the previous in the previous games, you still had to deal with game progression and combat.
Discovery Mode will be available as a free DLC for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC February 20th.PC users will also be able to buy Discovery Tour as a stand-alone game for $20.
The Hidden Ones will cost $9.99 if purchased alone and will be free for season pass holders and will be available January 23rd for The Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC January 23rd.
