N64 And Sega Genesis Games Heading to Switch Online In October

Nintendo revealed that some N64 and Sega Genesis (no, that was not a typo) titles are coming to Nintendo Switch Online in later October. However, these new additions will cost players a bit more money to, since they won’t be included with the current Switch Online membership. Instead, they will shuffled into a new tier called Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Current subscribers can upgrade to this new plan, but Nintendo did not divulge how much this tier will cost.

Nintendo will also be releasing a wireless N64 and Genesis controller for $50each. They are similar to NES and SNES controllers and will only be available to purchase if you’re a Switch Online subscriber. Certain games in the new collections will be online-enabled. That includes titles like Mario Kart–but you can still play that game with up to three other players.

I am a Platinum lover and an ex- Cod-aholic. I've been playing games since I was 5 years old and I refuse to quit, despite my mother's attempts to get me to. God of War and its successors are my all time favorite games.
