There is not many details about any changes or new additions to the game. More information is said to be revealed at the Monster Hunter Championship 2017. The event will take place on May 27th and will be viewable on YouTube from the Capcom channel. English subtitles likely won’t be available as the game has not been announced for the west.
Western fans still haven’t received an official English release of the original 3DS game. This could be an opportunity for Nintendo to secure a game for the currently sparse game selection of the Switch. Capcom previously said that sales for Monster Hunter XX were unsatisfactory in Japan so they may skip a western 3DS release and just release the game for the Switch although this is just speculation.
More details on the game can be seen on the Japanese Capcom website.
