Modern Warfare Remastered Standalone Available For Xbox & PC Now

Good news for all the Call Of Duty play­ers on Xbox and PC who did­n’t want to spend their mon­ey on Infi­nite Warfare.

MWR is now avail­able as a stand alone pur­chase on Xbox One and PC. Cost­ing $40 you can now pur­chase and play MWR, No Infi­nite War­fare required.

For Those who may not know, Mod­ern War­fare Remas­tered brings the first  “clas­sic” Call Of Duty expe­ri­ence to this gen­er­a­tion of con­soles, until last month on the Playsta­tion 4 and today on Xbox One and PC it required play­ers to pur­chase the leg­endary edi­tion of Call Of Duty Infi­nite Warfare.

Mod­ern War­fare Remas­tered fea­tures a large chunk of the maps avail­able in 2007’s Mod­ern War­fare. MWR fea­tures upgrad­ed graph­ics and per­for­mance and some new game modes not in the orig­i­nal. If you want more of the orig­i­nal maps, there is a “Vari­ety Map Pack” avail­able for an addi­tion­al $14.99 but is not required to play MWR and all its game modes.
