Microsoft Details What to Expect for Xbox Events at Gamescom 2017

Microsoft announced today the events they will be host­ing in August dur­ing the gamescom 2017 in Cologne, Ger­many. It will be the first time the Xbox One X will be in Europe and, for those who are lucky enough to attend, there will be 27 playable games for the Xbox One fam­i­ly of devices and Win­dows 10 PC from devel­op­ers around the world, includ­ing Forza Motor­sport 7, Age of Empires: Defin­i­tive Edi­tion and Sea of Thieves.

All of the shows will be livestreamed, so those who want to see it will not be miss­ing out:

Xbox @ gamescom Live

On Sun­day, August 20th, at 9:00 pm CEST, 12:00 pm PDT you can tune in to a spe­cial Xbox live show where you can get the lat­est news and announce­ments about the Xbox One X.

An array of games will be shown and news talked about when Xbox Germany’s Maxi Gra­eff sits down to talk with fan favorite developers.

Age of Empires @ gamescom Live  

On Mon­day, August 21st, start­ing at 9:00 pm CEST, 12:00 pm PDT, Microsoft is cel­e­brat­ing the 20th anniver­sary of Age of Empires with a spe­cial livestream event. This livestream will include the first-look at the Age of Empires: Defin­i­tive Edi­tion, a remas­tered edi­tion of the clas­sic announced at Microsoft­’s E3 con­fer­ence. They’ll also be talk­ing with the some of the leg­endary devel­op­ers who worked on the games as well as some “excit­ing news that fans won’t want to miss.”

Xbox Fan­Fest @ gamescom

For those who are attend­ing the fes­tiv­i­ties, Fan­Fest will begin on Tues­day, August 22nd. Microsoft states they will be shar­ing more details about Fan­Fest soon.

Xbox Booth @ gamescom

When gamescom offi­cial­ly opens at Koel­n­messe on Tues­day, August 22, gamers in Ger­many can final­ly get their hands on the Xbox One X. The Xbox Booth will be back in Hall 8, North Entrance. See below for show open­ing times:
