The next update for Assas­s­in’s Creed Val­hal­la will be arriv­ing tomor­row, March 16th, and will be anoth­er large down­load. In Ubisoft lates blog post, they pro­vid­ed the fol­low­ing size esti­ma­tions for Title update 1.2.0:

Once installed, Assas­s­in’s Creed Val­hal­la will be ready for the Ostara Fes­ti­val event, Trans­mog options will be added, and more cats will be roam­ing the lands. Trans­mog has been high­ly-request­ed fea­ture for the game, and with this patch play­ers will be able to vis­it Gun­nar’s black­smith in Raven­sthor­pe where they can change their appear­ance for 50 silver.

Three new skills are also being added: Fear­less Leaper (leap attack dam­age has a larg­er area of effect and can be done at any height), Raven’s Loot (your raven gath­ers loot from tar­gets killed with ranged attacks), and Loot Food (Eivor now has a high­er chance of loot­ing food from dead bodies).

Along­side the new skills are a mas­sive num­ber of bug fix­es. One was an issue pre­vent­ing play­ers from com­plet­ing a quest when a brooch was already col­lect­ed in Absence of an Eal­dor­man. A fix was also issued for an error caus­ing play­ers to sink to the bot­tom of the ocean when jump­ing from the long­ship with­out hav­ing learned the Leap of Faith.

Of course, there were so many oth­er prob­lems fixed, rang­ing from UI to HUD issues, to ran­dom oil jars no longer explod­ing near­by while per­form­ing an assas­si­na­tion. You can check out the full patch notes, with all the fix­es, below:

Ostara Fes­ti­val

We added in-game sup­port for the Ostara Festival.

  • The Ostara Fes­ti­val will be avail­able from March 18 to April 8. It will fea­ture a bloomy Raven­sthor­pe, some unique side activ­i­ties (such as egg hunts), and spe­cial rewards.
  • We’ll pro­vide more details about the Ostara Sea­son con­tent in the First Look arti­cle com­ing March 18.

Change Appear­ance / Transmog

We added Change Appear­ance aka Trans­mog to the game.

  • Change your gear and weapon appear­ance with­in the same cat­e­go­ry of items at Gun­nar’s black­smith in Raven­sthor­pe for 50 sil­ver. “This piece was already excep­tion­al­ly beau­ti­ful, but if there’s any­one who could improve it, it’s me!” —Gun­nar
  • Changed items will be marked with a star in the inventory.

New Skills
