Mass Effect Legendary Edition Might Be Coming To Xbox Game Pass

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition might be heading to Xbox Game Pass as early as this week. This is according to an accidental listing on the Xbox Store.

A Polish webiste, XGP (reported by VCG), said the remastered collection of the original Mass Effect trilogy briefly showed up with the Xbox Game Pass logo on its box art. This has previously indicated in the past that an announcement was approaching, or in some cases, just simply an error. Batman: Arkham Knight took months before it ending up on the subscription service, even after the logo was seen on the box art.

EA offers its own subscription service, EA Play, as a part of Xbox Game Pass. It contains titles that continuously updates with new additions, most of the new releases making their way to the service within a year of launch. Although Mass Effect Legendary Edition launched in May 2021, it might be coming to Game Pass early.

Developer BioWare is currently working on the next Dragon Age, but the studio has also teased the next entry in the Mass Effect series. A teaser image released earlier this month suggests a return of the Geth, with crew member Liara also expecting to return to this sequel. There is no release timeframe for the this Mass Effect game.
