Square Enix recently announced that the Life is Strange Remastered Collection is still supposed to launch for Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on February 1st, but the Switch is going to have to wait.
The development team explained that the Switch version needs more time and work before it’s ready. It will be released later this year, but an exact date nor a soft release date, were given. The studio also revealed that there will be an extended look at the collection tomorrow, January 25th.
The Life is Strange Remastered Collection contains both the Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm titles. The collection has improved character visuals, lighting upgrades, and fully motion-captured facial animations.
The Life is Strange Remastered Collection was originally supposed to launch on September 30th, the same day the Life is Strange: True Colors was released. However, it was delayed to early 2022 due to developmental issues, and the fact that the team was working on True Colors simultaneously.
