As part of Nintendo’s E3 2021 briefing, the company showed more of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 and confirmed a soft release date of 2022.
New of the untitled Breath of the Wild sequel was also unveiled during the presentation and producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed that parts of the game take place in the sky. “Return to Hyrule, and the skies above,” Nintendo announced. You can check out the full trailer below.
The Breath of the Wild sequel was first announced in E3 2019, and Nintendo has been teasing a darker atmosphere for this title. The new E3 2021 trailer falls in line with this.
