It Appears The PS VR2 Will Have More Than 20 Games At Launch

The PlaySta­tion VR 2, Sony’s lat­est vir­tu­al real­i­ty head­set for the PS5, will appar­ent­ly have over 20 first-par­ty and third-par­ty titles when it launch­es. This infor­ma­tion was unveiled dur­ing Jim Ryan’s Game & Net­work Ser­vices por­tion of Sony’s 2022 Busi­ness Seg­ment briefings. 

PS VR2 was ini­tial­ly announced in 2021, with lit­tle details giv­en at the time.

Sony still has­n’t revealed the price tag for the PS VR2 yet, but con­sumers should at least expect it to retail for the same amount as the orig­i­nal PS VR–$300. No launch date was giv­en either, but a report in 2021 sug­gest­ed Sony would be sell­ing the head­set dur­ing 2022’s hol­i­day season.

A cou­ple a PS VR titles we already know about: the Hori­zon Call of the Moun­tain spin-off, and Run­ner, a motor­cy­cle rac­ing game. There is also Samu­rai Slaugh­ter House, a com­bat game, as well as Among Us VR
