Bungie introduced Iron Banner today during the weekly reset and there is a huge change from Iron Banner before Forsaken.
If you didn’t like that your Light Level meant nothing in the Iron Banner, then today is a good day for you. Bungie reverted to the original rule of your Power making a difference and it debuts for the first time in Destiny 2, today.
Lord Saladin now has weekly bounties for you to complete. Each bounty rewards you with an Iron Banner-themed reward, and there are two bounties which grant powerful rewards. All Iron Banner-themed weapons and armor have a chance to be rewarded up completion of a bounty.
Saladin will also be offering armor for direct purchase, as well as two weapons with unique rolls per event. You can gain access to purchase these items by completing their associated bounties.
If you have tokens left over from Season 3, you can still redeem them in Season 4 for reputation packages. These packages also carry every Iron Banner-themed rewards.
Post-match drops have also returned to Iron Banner and, both Crucible and Iron Banner gear will drop after match completion.
Check out the gear below:
Bungie also reprised the Crucible map, Convergence, which is available today for all Destiny 2 players. Forsaken owners will gain access to the map in private matches.
