Halo Infinite Forge Reportedly Leaks, Gives Players The Ability To Change Weather

Halo Infinite’s Forge mode isn’t officially on the way until the game’s second Season in multiplayer has started in May, but new information has risen about the custom map editor. Apparently, this includes the ability to change the weather of the maps–at least according to the leak.

The Forge mode leaks come from the InfiniteLeaks Twitter account, which has a standing track record of revealing upcoming cosmetics, modes, and rewards coming to the game way before 343 Industries official announcements. A number of videos detailing what appears to be an early version of Halo Infinite’s Forge mode have also sprung up across the internet.

As seen in tweets from InfinteLeaks, it would seem Forge Mode will allow users to change the weather of maps. Footage of the Big Team Battle map Fragmentation during a blizzard, as well as peeks at maps like Bazaar at night and Live Fire in a drizzle.

A 50-minute video from Unseen Halo showing an early version of Forge mode reveled a decent amount of effects and objects players may possibly have to use in the future. The InfiniteLeaks Twitter account also mentioned some of the more interesting objects–a giant billboard for a Spartan energy drink among them–including a giant gingerbread house and snowman.

Seeing as many of these details may have been from far earlier in the development process, there’s no real way of telling if this information is still correct (or right at all).
