Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition has returned to Rockstar’s launcher for PC users to purchase. The studio announced the game’s return on Sunday. It was previously removed on November 11th after it was reported the game’s “holy grail” files were discovered.
Within its announcement, Rockstar also promised to continue to improve the experience on PC amid reports the game is struggling.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and are working to improve and update overall performance as we move forward,” Rockstar tweeted.
According to a report, if the GTA re-releases do well, Rockstar will consider remastering Red Dead Redemption. Take-Two’s Karl Slatoff recently outlined the company’s position on remasters, saying it’s just about the money.
