Gotham Knights Won’t Be Coming To Xbox One And PS4

Gotham Knights developer Warner Bros. Montreal has revealed new gameplay footage for the upcoming co-op title, as well as detailed what platforms the games will be released on.

Similarly to Rocksteady’s upcoming Suicide Squad game, Gotham Knights will only be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. No PS4 or Xbox One versions of the game will be made, as Warner Bros. Montreal explained in a press release that its goal is to provide the “best possible” gameplay experience by using the more powerful hardware available to them.

The game’s PlayStation store page was updated yesterday to show online support for up to “4 network players” but Warner Bros. Games confirmed to PCGamesN that Gotham Knights only has two-player co-op for the campaign. They did not mention if there was some other mode that supports four players, so this issue is still a tad foggy.

You can check out the latest trailer for Gotham Knights below. The game is set in Gotham City where Batman has died, with the Court of Owls coming out hiding, its up to the players to restore Gotham City to the proper order.

I am a Platinum lover and an ex- Cod-aholic. I've been playing games since I was 5 years old and I refuse to quit, despite my mother's attempts to get me to. God of War and its successors are my all time favorite games.
