It’s just month’s ways before Elden Ring is released, and From Software has confirmed that the game is almost done being developed. Much of the game is still a mystery, and From Software has done a decent job keeping any details regarding the game close to the chest.

Elden Ring’s development status was unveiled during a recent Famitsu interview. From Software’s Yasuhiro Kitao simply said the game is “at the end of development.” He did not indicate when the game would go gold. Kitao also loosely described the game’s world and difficulty, saying players can “seamlessly visit” the dungeons scattered throughout the world. This is a From Software game, so don’t expect a walk in the park. “High difficulties and overcoming them” are part of the game, Kitao said.

Although the game is close to finish, a mere months away from release, no one really knows much about it. From Software recently brought the upcoming title to Gamescom, where it won an award for Best Sony PlayStation Game–even though no more information was released to the public.
