Frequent Crashing in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Will Be Fixed In An Update Next Week

The recent release of Title Update 1.2.0 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has caused players to experience frequent crashes around Ravensthorpe. Ubisoft is currently working on a fix, and is planned to be released next week. Until then, certain items and features have been disabled as a temporary fix.

Since the crashes were frequently around Ravensthorpe, this can be particularly frustrating as Ravensthorpe is basically your in-game hub. Every time you finish a story mission and need to pick up a new one, you must return to this location.

It just so happens this coincides with Valhalla’s latest seasonal content, The Ostara Festival. It went live with Title Update 1.2.0 and is only available for a limited time. The Ostara Festival specifically adds new things to see and do around Ravensthorpe, so, yeah…there’s that. Ravensthorpe is also where you need to go for the new river raids too.

So anyone playing right now can’t go to the one place they need to go in order to finish the game’s campaign or take part in new post-launch content. This is a major letdown, since the release of the Wrath of the Druids DLC isn’t until April.
