Forza Horizon 5 Reaches 6 Million Players During Its Launch Week

Forza Hori­zon 5 is break­ing records for Xbox Games Stu­dios, becom­ing one of the biggest releas­es for Microsoft this year. It appears many play­ers are tak­ing a keen inter­est in the game as it’s hit 6 mil­lion play­ers and it’s still Forza Hori­zon 5’s launch week.

Xbox Games mar­ket­ing GM Aaron Green­berg stat­ed that the game set the record for Xbox Game Stu­dios’ best launch week ever. It should be not­ed that play­ers have had ear­ly access to the game since Novem­ber 5th if they pur­chased the Pre­mi­um Edi­tion. As for every­one else, it offi­cial­ly launched on Novem­ber 9th. Either way, it’s a rather impres­sive feat for just a week on the market.

Of course, Forza Hori­zon 5 is avail­able on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, but is also includ­ed in any Xbox Game Pass sub­scrip­tion. This has like­ly helped it reach more play­ers in such a short time.

Xbox’s next big release is Halo Infi­nite which is sched­uled to launch on Decem­ber 8th. It will def­i­nite­ly have a great chance of out­pac­ing Forza Hori­zon 5, but of course we’ll have to wait and see.
