Hot off the heals of Fallout 76’s huge Wastelanders update, Bethesda has announced that more big changes are coming. Fallout 76 will see more free content but it will now be delivered in a Seasons format similar to many other popular games (Fortnight, Call Of Duty, Apex Legends etc.). Each year will feature 4 seasons with each season lasting 10 weeks with a couple of weeks gap between each season.

Each season features a theme, new challenges to complete to earn exclusive rewards including “Atom bundles, Perk Card packs and unique cosmetics”. The challenge system is also getting an overhaul, as you complete challenges, complete missions and earn XP you will earn S.C.O.R.E., as you earn S.C.O.R.E. you will level up to earn rewards from the current season’s progression board. There will be 100 tiers to work through each season, in a similar fashion to the Battle Pass system found in other games, Players who don’t want to grind can level up their season board by purchasing each level for 150 atoms.

Season’s kicks off this Summer bringing new, high level Legendary Perks, Public Team matchmaking and a new legendary boss event. Season one will hit Appalachia with update 20 this summer. You can find out more about Fallout 76’s new Seasons here.
