Hot off the heals of Fall­out 76’s huge Waste­landers update, Bethes­da has announced that more big changes are com­ing. Fall­out 76 will see more free con­tent but it will now be deliv­ered in a Sea­sons for­mat sim­i­lar to many oth­er pop­u­lar games (Fort­night, Call Of Duty, Apex Leg­ends etc.). Each year will fea­ture 4 sea­sons with each sea­son last­ing 10 weeks with a cou­ple of weeks gap between each season.

Each sea­son fea­tures a theme, new chal­lenges to com­plete to earn exclu­sive rewards includ­ing “Atom bun­dles, Perk Card packs and unique cos­met­ics”. The chal­lenge sys­tem is also get­ting an over­haul, as you com­plete chal­lenges, com­plete mis­sions and earn XP you will earn S.C.O.R.E., as you earn S.C.O.R.E. you will lev­el up to earn rewards from the cur­rent sea­son’s pro­gres­sion board. There will be 100 tiers to work through each sea­son, in a sim­i­lar fash­ion to the Bat­tle Pass sys­tem found in oth­er games, Play­ers who don’t want to grind can lev­el up their sea­son board by pur­chas­ing each lev­el for 150 atoms.

Sea­son’s kicks off this Sum­mer bring­ing new, high lev­el Leg­endary Perks, Pub­lic Team match­mak­ing and a new leg­endary boss event. Sea­son one will hit Appalachia with update 20 this sum­mer. You can find out more about Fall­out 76’s new Sea­sons here.
