Ever since Fall Guys was released last year, people have been waiting for the game to launch on Xbox or Xbox Game Pass. Today, it appears one of those won’t happen, although the message was a tad mixed.
A comment on Instagram kicked off a strange interaction on social media platform, with the user demanding Fall Guys come to Xbox Game Pass. The person running the official Xbox Game Pass account stated “it’s coming” in response to the comment.
However, when this information was seen by the Fall Guys publisher Devolver Digital, they quickly followed up saying, “That’s incorrect.” In a subsequent response, the publisher also said, “There are no plans for Fall Guys to come to any form of Gamepass.” This was meant to clear up any confusion about it coming to either Game Pass for Console or Game Pass for PC.
Asked for the source of the information, Devolver Digital stated it came directly from “our dark lord Satan,” an obvious joke. You can see the full exchange below:

No matter how the mix-up happened, it definitely appears that Fall Guys won’t be heading to Xbox Game Pass. This shouldn’t be surprising, especially considering the statements made by Devolver’s co-founder, Graeme Struthers. He told GameSpot that he worries about subscription based services like Game Pass, because games might be buried under piles of other titles.
Fall Guys was developed by Mediatonic and was released back in August 2020 for PS4 and PC. Mediatonic has already stated it may bring the game to other platforms, but no further announcements regarding this have been made.
