Today Sony hosted a State Of Play livestream showing of some upcoming and upgraded games for the PlayStation 5.During todays stream Sony talked about Crash Bandicoot 4: Its about time getting some PS5 enhancements, gave us a new look at upcoming rogue like game Returnal and debuted Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and much more. Crash Bandicoot 4: Its About Time
Crash Bandicoot 4: Its About Time hit the PlayStation 4 last year and was great but now with the power of the new PlayStation 5 Crash will be running much better. Developer Toys For Bob is “pulling all the stops” and making the latest entry in the Crash Bandicoot world look and run beautifully on the PS5. The PS5 version will feature improved graphics and performance, running at native 4k resolution at 60 frames per second. The audio is also being updated to support 3D audio and the game will load much faster thanks to the PS5s super fast SSD.
Developer Housemarque gave us new look at some gameplay from their upcoming roguelike shooter game Returnal. The gameplay shows the main character taking on a few enemies using some of the weapons available in the game, while the main focus was the gameplay the presentation touched on the narrative slightly hinting that is a big mystery to unravel when the game launches.
EA Games showed some new gameplay for their upcoming “dodgebrawl” game Knockout City. #v3 mode and a new map were shown. Knockout City will be available on multiple platforms and offers cross play between them all. if you are interested in trying the game, EA is asking players to sign up for an upcoming beta to test the game ahead of its release. Sifu is the new game of Sloclap, the independent studio behind Absolver. A third person action game featuring intense hand-to-hand combat, it puts you in control of a young Kung-Fu student on his path of revenge throughout the city. Coming out on Playstation in 2021.
Solar Ash is one of the first games announced for the PlayStation 5, since the initial announcement not a lot about Solar Ash has been shown. Developer Heart Machine showed some gameplay during today’s State Of Play stream. In a post on the official PlayStation Blog, Studio Head Alex Preston describes the game “Solar Ash is a third-person action platformer with massive scale and a focus on fluidity in movement. We really wanted to push scale on multiple fronts. Our traversable world is huge, featuring sunken cities, vast water shelves, and dangerous lava zones for players to fight through and explore.” Solar Ash will be available for the PlayStation 4 and 5 sometime later in 2021.
Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach
Steel Wool Studios revealed the first gameplay from upcoming Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach.
Oddworld: Soulstorm is coming to the PlayStation 4 and 5 on April 6th and will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers at no extra cost at launch. Check out the new gameplay trailer that was shown during todays event above.
Kena: Bridge Of Spirits
Kena: Bridge Of Spirits looks like an awesome game, combining gameplay elements from both the Pikmin and The Legend Of Zelda games During todays event Ember Games revealed new gameplay and an August 24th release date for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation5 versions of the game. Pre-orders are available now, more information can be found on the PlayStation blog.
Bethesda showed a new gameplay trailer for PlayStation 5 and PC Game Deathloop. Before Bethesda was acquired by Microsoft they entered in to a console exclusivity deal with Sony making Deathloop a PlayStation5 console exclusive.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is an upgraded version of the PS4’s Final Fantasy VII Remake for the PS5. The experience will be mostly the same as the PS4 with the PS5 version featuring improved graphics and textures, new lighting, new fog effects and Photomode.
