Ear­ly today, Epic announced the lat­est free game they’re giv­ing out in the Epic Games Store. It seems because this free title is a major one, it’s caus­ing some prob­lems with Epic’s servers, which includes Fort­nite.

Epic revealed this week’s free game, Grand Theft Auto V, which sent peo­ple into a tizzy. It appears with so many try­ing to log into Epic to claim this game, it’s caused mas­sive crash­ing. The offi­cial Epic Games Store Twit­ter account acknowl­edged the 500 errors peo­ple were get­ting, only to tweet out a few hours lat­er they had­n’t resolved the issue:

Fort­nite is also hav­ing serv­er prob­lems, with the game’s offi­cial sta­tus Twit­ter account announc­ing they’re inves­ti­gat­ing the issue on PC and Mac. A few hours lat­er, they also shared that login trou­bles are also affect­ing Android and iOS.

Obvi­ous­ly, Epic is work­ing on the issues and will get back with any changes as soon as they happen.

In oth­er Epic news, yes­ter­day, the com­pa­ny revealed their newest engine and announced that Fort­nite would be launch­ing along­side the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
