The Elder Scrolls: Legends Launches On PC, Furture Plans Detailed

The Elder Scrolls: Leg­ends is out of beta and has offi­cial­ly launched on PC. 

Launch dates for oth­er plat­forms have also been announced. Elder Scrolls: Leg­ends comes to Ipad March 23rd, Android Tablets in April, Mac OS in May, and smart­phones in ear­ly sum­mer. Any progress and infor­ma­tion on PC can be trans­ferred over to all of the pre­vi­ous­ly men­tioned platforms.

Dire Wolf Dig­i­tal stat­ed that they plan to con­tin­u­al­ly update the game with bal­ance changes and events.

“But these updates and month­ly events are just a piece of what gives a game like The Elder Scrolls: Leg­ends a healthy lifes­pan. In order for an online game to con­stant­ly feel new and excit­ing, you need big­ger expan­sions and game­play additions.”

April 5th will mark the release of the first sto­ry update, The Fall of the Dark Broth­er­hood. There will be over 20 new sin­gle­play­er mis­sions which have play­ers infil­trate the Dark Broth­er­hood. Play­ers will then choose whether to become a part of the assas­sin group or destroy them. Along the way, play­ers will earn 40 new cards that con­sist most­ly of char­ac­ters from the Dark Broth­er­hood. The DLC will be split into 3 maps which can be bought sep­a­rate­ly with real mon­ey, in-game cur­ren­cy or all 3 can be bought for $19.99.

The next major update will come in May. Twitch inte­gra­tion, a spec­ta­tor mode and in-game tour­na­ment are the main fea­ture of this update. Con­di­tions, length, and prizes for in-game tour­na­ments will change every month. 

Cards and sin­gle­play­er con­tent is planned to release every few months how­ev­er no oth­er DLC or Updates were list­ed. More infor­ma­tion on future updates for The Elder Scrolls: Leg­ends will be release dur­ing this year’s E3.
