The Elder Scrolls: Legends is out of beta and has officially launched on PC.
Launch dates for other platforms have also been announced. Elder Scrolls: Legends comes to Ipad March 23rd, Android Tablets in April, Mac OS in May, and smartphones in early summer. Any progress and information on PC can be transferred over to all of the previously mentioned platforms.
Dire Wolf Digital stated that they plan to continually update the game with balance changes and events.
“But these updates and monthly events are just a piece of what gives a game like The Elder Scrolls: Legends a healthy lifespan. In order for an online game to constantly feel new and exciting, you need bigger expansions and gameplay additions.”
April 5th will mark the release of the first story update, The Fall of the Dark Brotherhood. There will be over 20 new singleplayer missions which have players infiltrate the Dark Brotherhood. Players will then choose whether to become a part of the assassin group or destroy them. Along the way, players will earn 40 new cards that consist mostly of characters from the Dark Brotherhood. The DLC will be split into 3 maps which can be bought separately with real money, in-game currency or all 3 can be bought for $19.99.
The next major update will come in May. Twitch integration, a spectator mode and in-game tournament are the main feature of this update. Conditions, length, and prizes for in-game tournaments will change every month.
Cards and singleplayer content is planned to release every few months however no other DLC or Updates were listed. More information on future updates for The Elder Scrolls: Legends will be release during this year’s E3.
