Bethesda’s Todd Howard is executive producer on the new Indiana Jones video game that Wolfenstein studio Machine Game is developing. Howard is also the game director on Bethesda’s next-gen games Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI, but is also the executive producer on the Fallout TV from Amazon. With so many projects, people are wondering if Howard has stretched himself too thin.
According to Pete Hines, this is not the case. On Twitter, Hines stated that Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI, specifically, are not affected by the announcement of the Indiana Jones game. “Todd is currently [executive producer] on many [Bethesda Game Studios] and other projects, such as the Fallout TV show. His main focus remains directing the upcoming Starfield and TES6 games, which aren’t affected by today’s news.”
While the release order for both Bethesda titles hasn’t changed, with Starfield releasing first, followed by The Elder Scrolls VI. No release date for Indiana Jones has been announced.
On top of all of this, a third Wolfenstein game is also planned which will wrap up the Machine Games’ Trilogy. It’s unclear if the Indiana Jones game will affect this project, if at all.
