Bethes­da’s Todd Howard is exec­u­tive pro­duc­er on the new Indi­ana Jones video game that Wolfen­stein stu­dio Machine Game is devel­op­ing. Howard is also the game direc­tor on Bethes­da’s next-gen games Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI, but is also the exec­u­tive pro­duc­er on the Fall­out TV from Ama­zon. With so many projects, peo­ple are won­der­ing if Howard has stretched him­self too thin. 

Accord­ing to Pete Hines, this is not the case. On Twit­ter, Hines stat­ed that Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI, specif­i­cal­ly, are not affect­ed by the announce­ment of the Indi­ana Jones game. “Todd is cur­rent­ly [exec­u­tive pro­duc­er] on many [Bethes­da Game Stu­dios] and oth­er projects, such as the Fall­out TV show. His main focus remains direct­ing the upcom­ing Starfield and TES6 games, which aren’t affect­ed by today’s news.”

While the release order for both Bethes­da titles has­n’t changed, with Starfield releas­ing first, fol­lowed by The Elder Scrolls VI. No release date for Indi­ana Jones has been announced. 

On top of all of this, a third Wolfen­stein game is also planned which will wrap up the Machine Games’ Tril­o­gy. It’s unclear if the Indi­ana Jones game will affect this project, if at all.
