Elden Ring Has Become The Best-Selling Game Of 2022 In The US

From Soft­ware’s Elden Ring is now the best-sell­ing game of 2022 for right now, with heavy sales across all platforms–bringing it to the top of The NPD Group’s results.

Accord­ing to NPD, Elden Ring has swift­ly become the best per­form­ing game of the year thus far, despite its Feb­ru­ary launch along­side oth­er major titles. It’s the best-sell­ing game of the month as well, and as is cur­rent­ly sit­ting in fifth for the top-sell­ing games over the past 12 months, being beat­en out by games like Call of Duty and Mad­den. When you con­sid­er the the NPD col­lect­ed these results up until Feb­ru­ary 26th, mean­ing Elden Ring achieved all of this in just two days.

For Feb­ru­ary, Elden Ring was the best-sell­ing game, fol­lowed by Hori­zon For­bid­den West in sec­ond. Poké­mon Leg­ends: Arceus man­aged to grab third, with Dying Light 2: Stay Human stay­ing right behind it in fourth. Round­ing out the top five is Total War: Warham­mer III.
