If you were looking forward to gaining access to EA Play on PC, through Xbox Game Pass, you’re going to have to wait a bit longer. The cross-service as supposed to debut yesterday, but Microsoft and EA have delayed it until 2021.

EA Play was released for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members back on November 10th, for consoles like the Series X. It was supposed to launch on PC for both Ultimate Game Pass and PC subscribers, but obviously that isn’t going to happen.

Microsoft didn’t give a specific reason as to why the service was delayed, but did state they partnered with EA because “they are passionate” about helping people discover new games and “in order to deliver on that, we need more time to provide the Xbox Game Pass experience.”

They didn’t give a specific time for when the service would launch, but said they would be sharing more information early next year.
