Director David Cage, of Quantic Dream studios (devs of Detroit: Become Human), announced a release date for their latest ambitious title. You can expect to see it hitting shelves on May 25th, 2018.
You play as three androids, each having their own story and consequences. Connor is a prototype designed to help human investigators on cases involving androids; Kara becomes a fugitive by empathizing with a little girl, united in their dream of freedom; Markus will become the leader of the android revolution.
Every decision a player makes will change how each of their stories are affected. Quantic dream went as far to say, “You must also be very careful with your three main characters, because any of them may die at any time.”
The studio also talked about how far they pushed themselves to create this title. They developed the “most spectacular” 3d engine, and pushed the limits of the PS4 as far as it would take them. This gives the game highly realistic characters, full performance capture, scenes featuring crowds, and an engaging story line left to the hands of the players.
There was no mention of any special edition copies, but this could change in the coming months when it gets closer to release date.
