Just like the first game, Destiny 2 will be giving PlayStation players exclusive content for a set amount of time. So everyone on Xbox One —which now includes PC— has to wait to receive these exclusive items.
The director of Destiny 2, Luke Smith, Posted a tweet today which stated: “Destiny 2’s PlayStation exclusive content will arrive on Xbox One and PC in 2018.” That is not very specific, but it is better than leaving us with no new information. When the exclusive PS4 content was first was first announced, Activision said it would continue to be exclusive “until at least Fall 2018.” So with what was said on Twitter, in combination with what Activision stated, PC and Xbox players could be looking at more than a year of waiting time. Maybe even around December 2018.
Exclusive content will include the strike: Lake of Shadows, an exoctic sniper rifle: Borealis, a competitive multiplayer map: Retribution, armor, and the Apex ship. To see the Destiny 2 E3 2017 PlayStation exclusive trailer, check it out below:
