The PlayStation 5 is a little over a week from launch, and Sony has been trickling information about upgrades to it’s first-party PS4 library in preparation for the next-gen. The apocalyptic zombie game Days Gone is getting some performance enhancements, as announced by Bend Studio.
The Sony studio tweeted that Days Gone on PS5 will support up to 60 FPS with dynamic 4K resolution. Additionally, any save files will transfer from the PS4 to the PS5 version. Of course, the tweet didn’t clarify if the enhancements are coming from the PS5 hardware boost or the games recent update.
Days Gone is part of the PS Plus Collection on PS5, so it’s likely to suck in more than a few new players. The Plus Collection consists of 20 curated games that will be available to play on the PS5 launch day, with a Plus subscription of course. It includes first-party titles like God of War and The Last of Us Remastered, but also some third-party games like Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and Monster Hunter: World.
Those looking for PS5 launch day titles, and have a PS Plus subscription, can grab the quirky Bugsnax on November 12th. However, it’s only for PS5 owners.
