Crash Team Rumble Launches In June; Closed Beta Coming In April

Activision has announced that Crash Team Rumble will launch on June 20th for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It will feature cross-platform play.

Originally reported by VGC, a closed beta for the game will arrive on April 20th ending on the 24th, for those who preordered the game. It will feature five characters: Crash, Coco Tawna, Neo Cortex, and Dingodile. The beta will include three maps to battle on as well. The full roster separates characters into three roles, Blocker, Booster, and Scorer.

The goal is for players to gather as much Wumpa fruit in their own drop-off area, while simultaneously keeping the opposing team from hoarding their own Wumpa fruit. Each character also has a unique Relic Power, which can be the deciding factor for a match.

Crash Team Rumble’s Standard Edition costs $30, with the Deluxe Edition running at $40. The former also includes a Premium Battle Pass for Season 1, while the latter includes a Season 2 Battle Pass, a 25-tier instant unlock for Season 1 and a Digital Prop Pack that has skins and equipable items.

Crash Team Rumble was first seen at The Game Awards 2022.
