Treyarch Studios announced via Twitter that some of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s weapons would be going through some adjustments. The full patch notes should be arriving sometime today. Treyarch has not specified what these tweaks will be, but they did provide a list of what guns will be getting them:

Weapons Being Adjusted

  • LC10
  • AK-74u
  • MAC-10
  • KSP 45
  • Milano 821
  • Krig 6
  • FFAR 1
  • Groza
  • Magnum
  • 1911
  • RPG‑7
  • LMG adjustments
  • Launchers bugged against Flak Jacket in Hardcore + more

The game’s co-developer Raven Software and Treyarch haven’t said if the weapons changes are exclusively for Black Ops Cold War or if this will also make its way to Warzone.

This will likely cause a ruckus among the community, since players always find any nerfs or buffs to be unfair. Most of the complaints surround sniper rifles, SMGs, a couple tactical rifles (AUG and the DMR).

In other Black Ops Coal War news, two map variations and a new map are being added to the game this week as well (maybe with the next patch).
