Yesterday, Ubisoft revealed the next Assassin’s Creed setting via a livestream which featured the artist BossLogic. Once he finished the beautiful artwork, it was obvious that the next Assassin’s Creed title would be set during the Viking era.

Shortly after the stream ended, Ubisoft revealed an official title for the game: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The Viking age was 100 to 400 years before the original Assassin’s Creed time period. It’s unknown if the game will feature the entire Viking timeframe or not.

Like the last two Assassin’s Creed games were more RPG than just stealth-style games like the originals. The first artwork for Valhalla shows a boat, implying the game will also have naval combat, which was introduced back into the series in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
