Changes Coming To Control In Destiny 2

The Crucible game mode Control will be returning to Destiny 2, but it won’t be exactly the same. During a gameplay session with IGN, Developer Bungie revealed that Control matches will now start with each team controlling 1 of 3 control points on the map.

They have also made changes to the way you capture control points, In Destiny 1, when players captured points already under the control of the enemy team they had to stand on and defend the point as it went to neutral then finally being captured for their team.

Each player’s status will now be displayed at the top of the screen, making it easier to see which players are currently alive and who has their special ready to go.

I feel these changes to a competitive game mode makes it easier for players and teams who don’t coordinate to compete, Looks like Destiny will again not feature a truly competitive PVP mode.

Are you looking forward to any of these changes?
