You can Sign Up for Closed Beta on PS4 Platformer-Fighting Game ‘Brawlhalla’

For any­one who is famil­iar with the old school plat­former fight­ing style games like Super Smash Broth­ers Melee, or Super Smash Broth­er Brawl, this game “Brawl­hal­la” is a slight­ly watered down ver­sion of those. Its stu­dio, Blue Mam­moth Games,  is now allow­ing users on the PS4 to sign up for its closed beta to help before the final prod­uct is complete. 

Brawl­hal­la is sim­i­lar to SSBM, but with some twists. You can pick up weapons dur­ing the match you are play­ing that could com­plete­ly change your playstyle. The set­ting is also in a the place of the Gods, Val­hal­la. Odin has cre­at­ed a Grand Tour­na­ment in an attempt to pre­vent these war­riors from tear­ing the place apart. 

It is free-to-play and you can choose from a assort­ment of char­ac­ters (some do not make sense to the theme, but to each their own) like vikings, nin­jas, cow­boys, were­wolves, knights, androids, super­heroes and plen­ty more.

It is not only for the casu­al fun, there is also a Com­pet­i­tive Brawl­hal­la. You can join ranked queues and work your way from Tin to Gold, or if you are good enough to Plat­inum or even Dia­mond. Tour­na­ments, both online and off, are ongo­ing every week­end. They also have a year­ly Brawl­hal­la World Championship.
