Season 4 has started in both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, and now the update for the battle royale has finally arrived. The update brings new playlists, events, a new vehicle, a 120hz refresh rate for PlayStation 5 users, and more.
The new Battle Pass has also arrived, and Verdansk also holds more mysteries with the appearance of Red Doors throughout the map. Additionally, eight new LGBTQIA+ Pride flag Calling Cards are now available to everyone for free for Pride Month.
Looking forward, Raven said it will be making “sweeping balance changes” to weapons. This is aims to bring the average time-to-kill between 60–100 milliseconds. We want to enable more escapes from impossible situations, moments of finesse, epic outplays, and opportunities to flex exquisite marksmanship,” Raven remarked.
“Due to some Weapons being far more lethal than others in their class, we feel a reduction in the efficacy of those outliers is necessary.”
The full patch notes have been posted on Raven Software’s website, or you can check them out below. The update is about 12 GB. As a side note, if you want to get that 120hz refresh rate, you’ll need an HDMI 2.1.
