Activision’s free-to-play battle royale, Call of Duty: Warzone, has hit another big player milestone. It’s been a month since it launched, with the game already reaching 50 million players.

Within the 24 hours Warzone surpassed 6 million players, then hit the 15 million mark after a few days. That was it’s initial burst, steadily increasing in player count every since until it reached 50 million. This would mean an average of more than a million players a day since the first few days of launch.

It seems Activision has attracted a rather large audience, mainly because they brought Call of Duty to every market. Their other free-to-play game, Call of Duty Mobile, recently reached 150 million downloads worldwide. Both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the standalone Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered were among the top five in the PlayStation Store top downloads last month. Warzone topped the free-to-play list.

PS4 players have been give exclusive content for Modern Warfare since day one, so it’s popularity is understandable on that platform.
