The rumored nuke event for Call of Duty: Warzone isn’t supposed to begin until later this April, but some nuclear warheads have already started to fall from the sky.
The team at ModernWarzone (via PC Gamer) spotted one of the nukes falling through the clouds. The massive nuke crashes into the ground and surprisingly.… nothing happens. Other people online have posted similar videos. One suggestion is that these nukes are falling early and not causing damage because of a glitch. However, this is a great clue as to what is going to go do down inside Warzone in just a couple of weeks.
It’s believed that this nuke event is tied to the continuing zombie outbreak across Verdansk. The idea is that zombies will completely infest the map, leading the nukes to be dropped to rid map of the problem. Of course, this will also destroy the map paving the way for the brand-new ’80s themed map based on Black Ops Cold War, according to reports.
This event is supposed to happen around the time Season 2 ends, which should be around April 22nd.
In other news, two of Warzone’s most powerful weapons have recently been nerfed, with a range of weapon attachments getting adjustments and other fixes.
