Raven Software, developers behind the free-to-play battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone, has removed a game mode because of a rather serious bug.
The developer addressed the issue on Twitter, stating that the playlist featuring the Armored Royale mode has been pulled. They’re currently investigating a bug that causes players to go invisible. Yes, that’s right, invisible.
Armored Royale is a spin on the standard battle royale, where teams get an armored truck with a mounted gun. Obviously, this isn’t going to be fun if players are invisible.
This isn’t the only invisibility glitch that’s happened in Armored Royale, as PC gamer reminds us there was a previous bug that caused helicopters to become invisible as well.
Warzone has seen many bugs, one of the more annoying ones involving the stim. Players found several ways to make stims infinite, giving them a massive advantage. That bug has been addressed, but it has been an issue for the developers.
In other Call of Duty news, Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will be seeing a double XP event soon. Additionally, a special version of Kill Confirmed called “Kiss Confirmed” is coming to standard multiplayer for Valentine’s Day.
