Raven Soft­ware, devel­op­ers behind the free-to-play bat­tle royale Call of Duty: War­zone, has removed a game mode because of a rather seri­ous bug.

The devel­op­er addressed the issue on Twit­ter, stat­ing that the playlist fea­tur­ing the Armored Royale mode has been pulled. They’re cur­rent­ly inves­ti­gat­ing a bug that caus­es play­ers to go invis­i­ble. Yes, that’s right, invisible.

Armored Royale is a spin on the stan­dard bat­tle royale, where teams get an armored truck with a mount­ed gun. Obvi­ous­ly, this isn’t going to be fun if play­ers are invisible. 

This isn’t the only invis­i­bil­i­ty glitch that’s hap­pened in Armored Royale, as PC gamer reminds us there was a pre­vi­ous bug that caused heli­copters to become invis­i­ble as well.

War­zone has seen many bugs, one of the more annoy­ing ones involv­ing the stim. Play­ers found sev­er­al ways to make stims infi­nite, giv­ing them a mas­sive advan­tage. That bug has been addressed, but it has been an issue for the developers. 

In oth­er Call of Duty news, War­zone and Black Ops Cold War will be see­ing a dou­ble XP event soon. Addi­tion­al­ly, a spe­cial ver­sion of Kill Con­firmed called “Kiss Con­firmed” is com­ing to stan­dard mul­ti­play­er for Valen­tine’s Day.
