It is believed that Activision will be officially announcing Call of Duty: Vanguard on August 19th. Leaks have also pointed to a possible open beta on the horizon, as well as multiple editions of the game.
The official Call of Duty Twitter accounts have been posting memes about the Vanguard leaks, which you can see below. One even came from Sledgehammer Games, the developer of the this next game.
Activision is also said to planning another major update to Warzone with a brand-new map set in the Pacific Theatre. According to a VGC report, Warzone’s next map will be bigger and more substantial than the overhaul that came to Verdansk when it shifted back in time to the ’80s.
If Vanguard is really set to be revealed on August 19th, it will be come at a time when Activision Blizzard is embroiled in accusations of discrimination and sexual harassment by the State of California.
