Sledgehammer Games announced numerous bonuses that are exclusive to PlayStation users, who will be receiving them for playing Call of Duty: Vanguard within the console family. There are quite a few bonuses that these users can look forward too.
As posted on the PlayStation blog, PlayStation members will get monthly double XP events, extra custom loadout slots, as well as five tier skips with the Battle Pass bundle. Playing on a PlayStation console will also receive a new Combat Pack for each new season (PS Plus subscribers only), along with +25% weapon XP while playing with friends in a party.
Activision and Sony have had an exclusive content deal for quite some time and this will continue for the next year with Call of Duty: Vanguard. PlayStation users already got a taste of this exclusivity when they got to try Vanguard’s Champion Hill mode before anyone else. They also had access to the beta way before other platform users, and for multiple weekends.
A recent trailer for Vanguard also showed that its PlayStation exclusive content won’t come to Xbox or PC for at least a year.
Sony won the exclusive deal away from Microsoft back in 2015 starting with Black Ops III. Every game since then has features some form of exclusive content for PlayStation users.
