Call of Duty: Modern Warfare welcomed a new patch, adding a must requested feature for PC users: the ability to uninstall portions of the game. It also included a new shotgun for all players.

Modern Warfare’s file size has exceeded 200 GB after some recent updates were pushed out. Many players don’t come back to the single player of any COD after the first playthrough, so being able to uninstall this is a great space saver. Console players have had this options for some time now, but is only available for digital owners on the PS4.

Alongside the PC feature, Infinity Ward added a new shotgun, the Jak-12. The new weapon was not mentioned in the patch notes, but it can be used in traditional multiplayer or Warzone. You can take a look at the shotgun below:

As usual, the multiplayer playlist has been refreshed, with HQ Firefight making its way to the featured playlist. In this mode, you score by getting kills and capturing opposing team’s headquarters. For Warzone, the update removes Blood Money Quads and adds Plunder Quads back to the playlist.

This patch also had some minor adjustments, like slightly boosting the damage of the Kar98 in Warzone. It also decreases the damage of the SP‑R sniper rifle, which was previously nerfed by a different patch. You can see the full patch notes from the new update below:
