While the current season pass for Borderlands 3 has come to an end, it seems Gearbox has come prepared with a whole new set of content with a second season pass. In a recent Borderlands Show stream, they laid out these plans, including a Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition that comes with all the content from both season passes.
First off, on November 10th, the new Arms Race mode will launch, as part of the Designer’s Cut expansion. That expansion also includes a new set of skill trees for all four Vault Hunters. The Designer’s Cut and the Director’s Cut expansions are set to release next spring, and both are included with Season Pass 2.
Alongside these expansions, Gearbox added a new set of cosmetics called the Multiverse Final Form. These are not your typical skins, they are entirely different character models. However, they can still be customized (heads, skins, bodies), just like the original models. The new cosmetics are included if you already own the Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition or the original Season Pass.

These cosmetics are also available with Season Pass 2, the Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition or the Borderlands 3 Next-Level Edition (which includes the base game and cosmetics only). Both the Ultimate and Next-Level Edition will drop on November 10th, alongside the launch of the Xbox Series X and Series S, and a few days before the PS5’s release. Borderlands 3 is will also be getting a free next-gen console upgrade for those who already own the game.
