A little over a week ago, Bethesda introduced the large Wastelanders update to Fallout 76. Now, it appears the studio is ready to open up the PTS again, starting on April 30th. They also revealed what the players can expect in the coming couple of months with a community calendar. There’s also a Mystery Pick event at the Purveyor’s shop.
Returning PTS
Bethesda is looking into opening the Private Test Server for “many more patches going forward.” They would like to re-open the server by next Thursday, April 30th, so they can get “lots of early community feedback”, for their next update, which is currently planned for May. This gives a couple of weeks for players to test before the patch goes live.

Like the previous PTS, it’s invite-only and all play tester who are selected will be required to sign an NDA before logging in. Bethesda will be re-opening sign-ups as well, so those who missed out on the last PTS will have another chance to get in. More details will be released in the coming days about when and how you can participate in the PTS. If you already took part ahead of the Wastelanders launch, you will not need to sign-up again.
Community Calendar Updates
You can see upcoming events below, though it looks like the good stuff isn’t going to happen until May:

Mystery Pick

The Purveyor has moved her shop from Berkeley Springs Station to The Rusty Pick in the Ash Heap. To celebrate a successful move, she has a new Mystery Pick event for the whole weekend, which has started already. Give the Purveyor 60 Legendary Scrips in exchange for a completely random three-star legendary item. It ends at 12:00 p.m. ET/ 9:00 a.m. PT on Monday, April 27th.
