Prey has been released for well over a year and Bethesda finally showed some DLC for the reboot. The DLC is called Mooncrash and is currently available to purchase right now for $19.99.
Mooncrash (obviously on the moon) involves an almost infinite replay-ability. This is similar to what The Division added in their Underground DLC. Every time you play through, the next time will be an entirely different run, with different enemies and loot.
This DLC was not the only announcement. Prey is also having a free update, bringing Survival Mode, Story Mode, and New Game Plus. Like the DLC, it is available today.
Arkane Studios also announced a summer release of Prey: Typhon Hunter. It’s a 5v1 mode, where the five players, called mimics, disguise themselves as common items, like a chair or a plotted plant. The human player must find the rest of the five in order to win, and the mimics must stay hidden to win. This is obviously very similar to Prop Hunt.
