A new teaser for EA and DICE’s next Battlefield game has surfaced online, ahead of its officially announcement on June 9th. The teaser is mysterious to say the least. It appears that screenshots of the game have also leaked online.

EA is sending a teaser image to influencers like JackFrags via Twitter DM. The message contains a scrambled transmission which may offer clues about the new Battlefield. The message was apparently intercepted, but there are some pieces missing. However, what it does say is the following: “Some of you want to return home. I must tell you the truth. Do we accept our fate? If you can fire a gun … we need you. War is the only way home.”

The teaser says the transmission was picked up at 3600 hours. Military time only goes up to 2400 hours, so it’s speculated that the game is set in the future or possibly an alternate universe. You can check out the image below for any clues you might be able to spot.

Battlefield 6, or whatever the game will be titled, will be officially unveiled on June 9th. There is a rumor that it could possibly be on Xbox Game Pass. While the game will be shown on the 9th, it’s unknown if it will be shown days later at E3 2021. Electronic Arts is not attending the show this year, opting to host its own EA Play Live event in July.

The biggest development team ever is currently working on the Battlefield 6, and EA management said the game could have more live service elements than before.
