DICE has delayed the launch of Battlefield 2042’s 3.3 update, which will add the long-awaited refreshed scoreboard UI, among other things.
The update was originally planned to release in mid to late February, but DICE said on Thursday that patch is now targeted to launch in early March. The studio did say it will spend this additional development time ensuring all the game’s updates meet the company’s quality standards, while also including more changes than what was previously announced.
Our next Update after todays Hotfix will now roll out in early March. This is a change from our last messaging to you all on it’s intended release.

The delay of this patch comes in on the coattails of a hotfix for Battlefield 2042 that launched earlier today. The update addressed stability issues that cropped up in the previous 3.2 patch. A download is required, but there is no downtime.
It’s been a rough week for Battlefield 2042. DICE delayed Season 1 for the game, saying they decided to improve the core game first before adding new content. Additionally, EA stated that Battlefield 2042 failed to meet the company’s sales expectations.
