Bat­tle­field 2042 will have an open beta before the game launch­es, and DICE has shared a few more details regard­ing it. The open beta will be released some­time with­in September.

EA Play sub­scribers who pre­order the game will get ear­ly access to the beta, but DICE did­n’t say how much soon­er that access would be. EA Play mem­bers will also get ear­ly access to the full game on Octo­ber 15th, a week before the title releas­es for every­one else (Bat­tle­field 2042’s offi­cial release date is Octo­ber 22nd).

Accord­ing to Bat­tle­field Bul­letin, Bat­tle­field 2042’s open beta will be avail­able for pre-load­ing on Sep­tem­ber 3rd. Ear­ly access for pre-order play­ers will start on Sep­tem­ber 4th, while every­one else will have to wait until Sep­tem­ber 6th. The beta will end on Sep­tem­ber 11th.

Of course, this tweet has since been delet­ed, so it can’t be ver­i­fied. As well as when the beta will start, it’s also unclear what con­tent will be avail­able in the Bat­tle­field 2042 beta. The mul­ti­play­er title con­sists of three main modes: All-Out War­fare, Por­tal, and Haz­ard Zone.
